[Hello!] is a fun, bold new sans serif typeface design conceived for use at medium/large point sizes,
making it an ideal choice for headlines, graphic applications, quotations, etc.

We tried to emulate the feel of a spontaneous friendly conversation, much like how one would say [Hello!] to a passer-by on the streets or a long lost friend. The design of [Hello!] is based on a set of geometric modules from which all letterforms and glyphs are generated.

“Roundedness” is the leitmotif that conveys the fun and friendly mood of the typeface. In designing [Hello!],
we have taken the edge off the austere angularity characteristic of many serif fonts, opting instead for a soft, rounded and altogether more approachable letter shape, most notably in characters such as ‘E, F, H, K, L, R, V, X and Z’. To retain recognisability and consistency with traditional letterforms, certain angular features were kept and moulded into the geometric grid which accounts for the distinctiveness of the characters ‘B, D, P, U, and Q’. This typeface is delivered in an all caps version, beautifully suited to retain the emphasis of its spontaneous impact.
