Immaterial Frontiers, a parallel exhibition of Singapore Biennale 2013 presents the work of six leading media artists from Southeast Asia: Charles Lim (SG), Cheo Chai-Heng (SG), Tas Ermitano (PH), Tengal (PH) Tintin Wulia (ID), and Dinh Q. Le (VN). Representing three generations of artists and using a broad definition of media art, the exhibition includes lo-tech DIY constructions, digital video, sculptural installations and interactive sound works. The exhibition addresses the concept of the ‘frontier’ as a physical, conceptual or ideological ground that defines the edge and beyond.
 
Our branding work for this exhibition spreads across print and environmental design. A large part of it takes inspiration from the notion of borderlands, the very lands defining frontiers yet itself presenting the state of uncertainty and condition. Paying homage to the nature of this exhibition, we created a visual identity that reflects the notion of digital technology and constant change.
